Broadcaster Jang Sung-kyu has revealed his wife's astonishing spending habits, leaving his co-hosts in disbelief. In a recent upload on his YouTube channel 'Manri Jang Sung-kyu,' titled 'Top 1 Hobby Husbands Dislike,' Jang detailed an unexpected financial revelation.

While chatting with fellow broadcasters Jeon Min-ki and Kim Ki-hyuk at an indoor fishing spot, the conversation turned to financial management, particularly for newlywed Kim Ki-hyuk. Kim expressed his concerns about managing finances as a couple who would both be working, asking how others handled it.

Jang explained his philosophy: "The person interested in money should manage it. I majored in economics, participated in a stock club during college, and have a keen interest in real estate." He continued, "When I asked my wife her thoughts on finances, she said she wasn't interested, so I took on the role of managing all our money."

When asked about household expenses and allowances, Jang admitted, "I told my wife to spend as much as she wanted. I gave her a card and set up an SMS notification for every transaction, as a safeguard against potential loss. However, my wife asked me to stop it, saying she felt uncomfortable." He then confessed, "The month after I canceled the notification service, she spent 20 million KRW (approximately $15,000 USD) in a single month, including children's education expenses."

Jeon Min-ki immediately urged, "You need to turn that notification service back on!" At that very moment, Jang's phone rang. It was his wife. "It's my wife, Yumi," Jang said, startled and laughing, "She must know we're talking about this." He added, "It's uncanny that she called right when we were discussing money," to which his wife responded with a sigh, causing everyone to burst into laughter.
