Lim Young-woong's Fan Club 'Hero Generation Band' Surpasses 100 Million Won in Donations, Spreading Warmth

The fan club of singer Lim Young-woong, known as 'Hero Generation Band (Sharing Group)', has brought heartwarming感动 by surpassing a cumulative donation of 100 million Korean Won through consistent acts of kindness.

On September 11th, Hero Generation Band volunteered at the Catholic Sarang Peace House in Dongin-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, preparing and delivering lunch boxes for residents in the rooftop room villages. The group provided ingredients worth approximately 1.5 million Korean Won for the meals, demonstrating their dedication to sharing.

This marks the 77th charitable activity since its inception in May 2020, and with this milestone, their total donations have now exceeded 100 million Korean Won. In recognition of their long-standing and dedicated support, the Catholic Sarang Peace House presented Hero Generation Band with a plaque of appreciation, commending their benevolent deeds.

The volunteer efforts began through a connection with a Catholic member and now involve 25 core volunteers. Despite differences in religious beliefs and backgrounds, they are united by a shared passion to emulate Lim Young-woong's compassionate heart and honor his name.

Hero Generation Band regularly participates in meal preparation and delivery on the second Thursday of every month at the Catholic Sarang Peace House. Over the past four years, they have completed 77 such volunteer sessions, significantly impacting the local community.

A representative from Hero Generation Band stated, "Although it's a challenging volunteer activity starting early in the morning, the happiness we feel from conveying warmth to someone is greater than any reward." They added, "We will continue to practice neighborly love and sharing in the future."
