Actress Ko Hyun-jung Shows Warm Support for Niece Annie of All Day Project

Actress Ko Hyun-jung is drawing attention for her quiet support towards Annie (Moon Seo-yoon), a member of the group All Day Project (All Def) and the niece of her ex-husband from the prominent Shinsegae Group family.

Recently, Ko Hyun-jung was seen liking a pictorial post on the official SNS of fashion magazine W Korea, featuring Annie, a member of All Day Project. Although no comment was left, her gesture of support for her former in-law's niece as a senior entertainer has been met with warm reactions.

Annie, born in 2002, is the eldest daughter of Shinsegae Chairman Chung Yoo-kyung and the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group Honorary Chairman Lee Myung-hee, making her the niece of Shinsegae Vice Chairman Chung Yong-jin. Ko Hyun-jung, a former Miss Korea, was married to Chung Yong-jin in 1995 and divorced in 2003.

In a past broadcast, Annie, who is pursuing a singing career, shared her childhood aspirations, stating, "Whenever songs by seniors 2NE1 or Big Bang played, I always had to try singing along. Ever since 'Lollipop' came out, I absolutely had to do CL's part." She also mentioned receiving scoldings from her parents about the noise during her practice sessions.

Recalling her parents' reaction to her decision to become a singer, Annie said, "When I first said I wanted to be a singer, they didn't take it seriously. They said, 'It's just a phase,' and I really hate that word."
