Actor Choi Joon-yong Mourns Charlie Kirk, Far-Right Activist and Trump Associate

South Korean actor Choi Joon-yong has paid tribute to Charlie Kirk, a far-right activist known as an associate of former U.S. President Donald Trump, who recently passed away.

On the 14th, Choi Joon-yong shared a message on his social media account stating, “Charlie Kirk. We will not forget your efforts for freedom and peace. Thank you for being with us. Rest in Peace. R.I.P.” He also posted a memorial photo of Kirk.

Kirk, the founder of the right-wing organization 'Turning Point USA,' was shot and killed on October 10th (local time) while attending a lecture at Utah Valley University in Utah. Following news of his death, Super Junior member Choi Siwon and actress Jin Seo-yeon also posted messages of condolence.

Choi Joon-yong is known for his public support of former South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol. In January, he attended an anti-impeachment rally for Yoon, expressing surprise at the sudden declaration of martial law and disappointment at its swift end.
