Singer Won Hyuk-Lee Soo-min Family Becomes 6000th 'Good Family' Benefactor

Singer Won Hyuk and his wife Lee Soo-min, along with their daughter Won Yi-el, have become the 6000th participants in the "Good Family" program by the Korea Fruit of Love Social Welfare Community Chest, adding warmth to the initiative.

The Fruit of Love announced at a signing ceremony held on the 17th at their annex in Jung-gu, Seoul, that this family has been registered as the 6000th "Good Family." They are also actively serving as ambassadors for the Fruit of Love in Ulsan, leading by example in practicing generosity.

"Good Family" is a regular donation program where families share the meaning of giving by donating 20,000 won or more monthly. Launched nationwide in May 2016 during Family Month, it aims to foster a culture of sharing. Participating families receive a certificate of recognition.

Won Hyuk first connected with the Fruit of Love through his father-in-law Lee Young-sik's appointment as an ambassador. In July, following in his father-in-law's footsteps, he himself was appointed as an ambassador for the Fruit of Love in Ulsan. His enrollment as the 6000th "Good Family" member underscores his sincere commitment to philanthropy.

He expressed, "I believe sharing is about enabling other families to feel the happiness that our family feels." He added, "I am delighted to practice the value of warm giving with my beloved wife and daughter."

Hwang In-sik, Secretary-General of the Fruit of Love, stated, "The 'Good Family' program, which has continued for a long time, has evolved beyond simple donations into a precious culture where families practice sharing together." He further commented, "It is even more meaningful and 감사 (kamsahamnida - thank you) that the family of ambassador Won Hyuk has joined as the 6000th member."

Meanwhile, Won Hyuk, who gained recognition through TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot 2', has been actively engaged in various activities including releasing albums, holding his first solo concert in 2024, and managing the YouTube channel 'Appo TV' with his wife Lee Soo-min, which boasts 180,000 subscribers.

Won Hyuk gained public attention after appearing on TV Chosun's 'Mr. Trot 2' in 2023. He successfully held his first solo concert, '2024 Joseon's Lovebirds Won Hyuk First Solo Concert,' in 2024. His YouTube channel 'Appo TV,' co-managed with his wife Lee Soo-min, has garnered over 180,000 subscribers.
