LE SSERAFIM Dazzles in Traditional Hanbok for 'Super Elle' Ahead of Chuseok

K-pop sensation LE SSERAFIM has unveiled a stunning series of photos showcasing their elegance in traditional Korean hanbok. The captivating images were released on September 20th by fashion magazine Elle Korea, gracing the cover of their special 'Super Elle' supplement for the October issue.

Ahead of the upcoming Chuseok holiday, the five members—Kim Chae-won, Sakura, Huh Yun-jin, Kazuha, and Hong Eun-chae—transformed into ethereal figures, embodying the concept of a 'pearl'. The photoshoot beautifully visualized the group's journey of growth, their future aspirations, and their musical narrative, using pearls as a metaphor. Each member donned hanboks in delicate hues, displaying unique charms. Kim Chae-won exuded a deep gaze while wearing a traditional headpiece, and Sakura effortlessly embodied grace in an ornate hanbok with flowing lines. Huh Yun-jin created a mystical aura in a blue-toned hanbok, while Kazuha captivated with her refined profile, her hair neatly styled. Hong Eun-chae shone brighter than the purple flowers she posed with, radiating a vibrant beauty.

In a subsequent interview, the members shared their admiration for the hanbok, describing it as a "beautiful harmony of tradition and modernity." Reflecting on the 'pearl' concept, they expressed a desire to become "people like pearls who wisely endure pain and hardship." Discussing their ongoing world tour, '2025 LE SSERAFIM TOUR ‘EASY CRAZY HOT’', they emphasized the significance of standing on stage through their own efforts, crediting the groundwork laid by senior K-pop artists. They also expressed deep emotion over fans singing their Korean lyrics loud enough to be heard over in-ear monitors.

Following the successful conclusion of their North American tour, LE SSERAFIM is set to make a comeback in October with new music, marking their return approximately seven months after the release of their fifth mini-album 'EASY'.
