Comedienne Lim La-ra Shares Pregnancy Struggles with Twins

Comedienne Lim La-ra has candidly shared the difficulties she's facing in her advanced pregnancy with twins.

A video uploaded to the YouTube channel 'Enjoy Couple' titled "Phase 2 of Twin Mom's Pregnancy Cravings Post-Morning Sickness Legend Menu Haul! Eating Large Intestine Three Times a Day, Seriously?" detailed her experiences.

In the video, Lim La-ra celebrated the end of her morning sickness with an extensive mukbang. She admitted, "They told me to be careful about gaining weight, but it's just so delicious. My appetite has really returned lately."

However, the end of morning sickness did not bring an end to her discomfort. Lim La-ra revealed, "My stomach doesn't feel great. As soon as the morning sickness ended, my appetite returned, but I feel like my stomach is going to burst even after eating a little. It's not just a feeling of fullness; I can barely breathe, like I've indigestion."

She continued, "I think having twins is difficult for the entire ten months. My stomach started getting full right after the morning sickness stopped. I can't even put on shoes easily anymore. So, I bought two pairs of the same, comfortable shoes from a spa brand nearby that I can just slip my feet into."

Furthermore, Lim La-ra expressed stress over her rapid weight gain, stating, "I was a bit stressed about gaining weight rapidly lately, but I decided to just eat what I want healthily and think of it that way. I think I've become a bit obsessive because I've been in broadcasting for so long."

Lim La-ra married fellow comedian Son Min-soo in 2023 after a 10-year relationship. They announced their twin pregnancy via IVF in April of this year. The twins, a boy and a girl, are due in November.

Lim La-ra debuted as a KBS comedian in 2019 and gained significant popularity through the 'Enjoy Couple' channel with her husband, Son Min-soo, showcasing various comedic content.
