ITZY Renews Contracts with JYP Entertainment, Promises More to Come with MIDZY

All members of K-pop sensation ITZY have officially renewed their contracts with JYP Entertainment, extending their journey with the label.

The exciting announcement was made during their fourth official fan meeting, ‘ITZY The 4th Fan Meeting ITZY & MIDZY, Fly High! “ON AIR”’, held on October 20th at the KBS Arena in Seoul. The event, which saw all tickets sold out, also included an online broadcast via Beyond LIVE, allowing fans worldwide to participate.

The fan meeting adopted a fresh 'broadcasting station' concept, where each member took on roles such as camera director, stylist, and scriptwriter, adding a unique and engaging element to the show. ITZY delivered a powerful performance lineup, featuring hits like 'ICY', 'DALLA DALLA', 'SNEAKERS', and 'WANNABE'.

Adding to the excitement, the members showcased individual talents with solo stages covering various artists. Yeji performed a cover of IU’s 'Twenty-three', Ryujin took on Jungkook’s ‘Standing Next to You’, Lia covered tuki.’s ‘Bansanka’, Chaeryeong performed Gain’s ‘Bloom’, and Yuna sang Naeyeon’s 'ABCD'. The group also wowed the audience with a cover of Wonder Girls’ ‘So Hot’.

During the event, the members expressed their deep gratitude and affection for their fandom, MIDZY. They shared that the decision to re-sign was driven by their desire to create more cherished memories with their fans, stating, "Seven years felt too short. We want to create many more good memories and happy moments together, ITZY and MIDZY."

Looking ahead, ITZY is set to release their new Japanese full-length album ‘Collector’ on October 8th, followed by their first-ever solo fan meeting in Tokyo from November 11th to 13th, marking a significant step in their global expansion.

ITZY, debuted on February 12, 2019, by JYP Entertainment, is a five-member girl group known for their powerful performances and unique concepts. Since their debut, they have garnered significant attention and achieved success with hit songs like 'DALLA DALLA', 'ICY', 'WANNABE', and 'SNEAKERS'.
