Entertainer Gi Eun-sae appeared on Channel A's 'Friend's Note - Table for Four' and addressed misconceptions surrounding her life, drawing significant attention.

During the broadcast, Gi Eun-sae revealed past public perceptions of her, such as being perceived as someone who "grew up sheltered like a hothouse flower" or a "tycoon's youngest daughter." She stated, "The me I see and the public's perception of me are vastly different." She specifically shared, "After marrying someone wealthy and now living alone, people still assume it's thanks to his fortune."

Expressing the hurt caused by such judgments, Gi Eun-sae firmly declared, "I have never taken what belongs to others. I built my current life myself, and the same goes for my parents." Her efforts as a first-generation influencer were also highlighted. Shin Da-eun commented, "One of the misunderstandings about her is that her efforts are seen as easy. She works all day; she's one of the most hardworking people I know."

She identified a significant change in her life as gaining "the strength to independently shape my life." Gi Eun-sae added, "In my 20s, I was always with someone because I felt lonely, but now I can enjoy being alone." She continued, "I still love people, but I've also learned the joy of time spent alone."

Speaking candidly about her financial situation, Gi Eun-sae said, "If I had only acted, I would have been crying every day." She explained, "As an influencer, I earned money, but I also find happiness in my work." She shared her perspective: "I now understand what the elders meant when they said you have to go through hardship in your 20s." She concluded, "Countless failures have become the foundation that allows me to be grateful and content in my current life."

Meanwhile, Gi Eun-sae married a businessman 12 years her senior in December 2012 and announced her divorce in 2023.

Gi Eun-sae began her acting career in 2006 with the sitcom 'The Legend of the Dike'. She has since honed her acting skills in numerous productions like 'The Road to Jeju', 'My Mister', and 'Why Is This Going On, Landscape?'. Starting in 2015, she gained immense popularity by sharing lifestyle content, including interior design and fashion, through her personal blog and social media, establishing herself as a first-generation influencer.
