Busan International Comedy Festival, Nakipag-ugnayan sa Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange

Ang Organizing Committee ng Busan International Comedy Festival ay pumirma ng kasunduan (MOU) sa Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange.

The signing ceremony took place on May 16th at the Foundation's headquarters in Seoul. Kim Jun-ho, Executive Chairman of the Busan International Comedy Festival, and Park Chang-sik, Director of the Korea Foundation for International Cultural Exchange, were present and signed the agreement.

The primary goal of this collaboration is to foster international cultural exchange and contribute to the sustained global spread of the Korean Wave, or Hallyu. Both organizations are committed to establishing a robust cooperative framework to invigorate cultural interactions and broaden the reach of performing arts on a global scale.

The agreement also encompasses continuous collaboration in various aspects, including the planning and execution of international cultural exchange and Hallyu-related projects, the development of joint initiatives, and the promotion of cultural exchange activities. This partnership holds particular significance as the Busan International Comedy Festival, a premier Asian comedy event for the past 13 years, joins forces with a national institution specializing in cultural exchange.

It is anticipated that this alliance will create new avenues for the international dissemination of performing arts content and showcase the diverse appeal of Korean culture to a worldwide audience. Kim Jun-ho expressed, "We anticipate that global cultural communication through comedy will become even more vibrant." Meanwhile, Park Chang-sik shared his hope, "This agreement will undoubtedly expand the scope of international cultural exchange and yield positive outcomes in the proliferation of Hallyu."
