Fans of the popular JTBC baseball entertainment show 'Strong Baseball' are in for a treat! (G)I-DLE's main vocalist, Miyeon, has been announced as the ceremonial first pitcher for the show's second live game.
The thrilling match will take place on Sunday, the 16th, at 2 PM KST at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. The 'Strong Baseball' team, known as the Breakers, will face off against a formidable team of alumni from prestigious Seoul baseball high schools.
Adding to the excitement, singer Lee Chan-won will perform the national anthem and join as a special caster. But the spotlight is also on Miyeon, a seasoned pitcher with three previous professional baseball first pitch experiences. She's known for her charming pitches and has a remarkable track record, having even been dubbed a 'victory fairy' for cheering on winning teams in important matches like the 2024 Semi-Playoffs and the 2025 Jamsil Opening Game.
