SHINee's Minho reveals behind-the-scenes stories of hit songs!
SHINee's Minho has openly shared honest behind-the-scenes stories related to the group's representative hit songs. On the YouTube channel 'TEO', in the content 'SM Visual Center talks about SM 5 Center EP.117 Minho Salon Drip', Minho discussed SHINee's music with Jang Do-yeon. When asked if there were any songs he initially disliked but became huge hits, Minho confessed, "I didn't think 'Ring Ding Dong' and 'Lucifer' were our songs. I felt that way from the very beginning until the end." When Jang Do-yeon jokingly called them 'Suneung forbidden songs' (songs that are too catchy and distracting for college entrance exams), Minho replied, "But it was amazing how well both songs did. So, the members and I even talked about, 'Does it do well because we don't like it?' But that's not always the case," he explained with a laugh. On the other hand, regarding songs where SHINee's color felt more distinct, he said, "'View' and 'Sherlock' felt like, 'This is truly SHINee's song.' We were very happy to have them, and they received a lot of love." At this point, when Jang Do-yeon playfully mentioned, "Actually, 'Lucifer' was by Jeon Hyun-moo...", Minho quickly retorted, "It was snatched, it was snatched," hilariously bringing the set to laughter. Meanwhile, SHINee's Minho is set to release his solo single 'TEMPO' on the 15th.
Korean netizens are reacting positively to Minho's honest revelations. Many are commenting, "It's so funny how he didn't like 'Ring Ding Dong' at first!" and "Minho's wit is amazing, he handled Jang Do-yeon's joke so well."
