Actor Jo Jung-suk has reportedly sold a building he purchased in Daechi-dong for 3.9 billion won in 2018 for 11 billion won, securing a capital gain exceeding 7 billion won.

The new owner of the prime real estate is director Yeon Sang-ho, renowned for the blockbuster film 'Train to Busan'. Director Yeon acquired the building through his corporate entity, completing the ownership transfer in August.

Located near the Eunma Apartment intersection and adjacent to the bustling Daechi-dong academy street, the building boasts excellent accessibility with both Daechi Station (Line 3) and Hanti Station (Shinbundang Line) within walking distance. The five-story building, with a total area of 710.71㎡, is fully leased to an English language academy.

Jo Jung-suk, born in 1980, is a versatile actor who debuted in the 2004 musical 'Grease'.

He has garnered significant popularity through hit dramas such as 'Jealousy Incarnate' and the 'Hospital Playlist' series.

His recent film roles in 'The Moon' and 'Road to Boston' have further solidified his status as a beloved actor in the industry.
