Go Hyun-jung Hailed as 'Angel on Set' After Dramatic Rescue of Child Actor

Actress Go Hyun-jung is being praised after it was revealed she heroically saved a 6-year-old child actor on the set of her drama last year. The incident occurred during the filming of SBS's 'The Scourge', when child actor Jo Se-woong narrowly escaped being swept away by a sudden wave.

According to a social media post by Jo's mother, Go Hyun-jung sprinted from a distance and threw herself into the water to rescue the boy. She was completely drenched in the process but ensured the child's safety. The grateful mother expressed immense thanks, stating she was too shocked to react but will forever be indebted to Go Hyun-jung.

The dramatic rescue was even incorporated into the first episode of the crime thriller, which depicts a detective's collaboration with her estranged mother to solve a series of murders. Go Hyun-jung stars as the lead character in the series, showcasing her dedication both on and off-screen.
