BOYNEXTDOOR has solidified their presence in Japan, topping major music charts with their second Japanese single, 'BOYLIFE'. The single achieved an impressive first-week sales of approximately 346,000 copies, securing the number one spot on both the Oricon Weekly Single Ranking and the Weekly Combined Single Ranking for the period of August 18-24.

Further cementing their success, 'BOYLIFE' has earned a Platinum certification for September from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) after surpassing 250,000 units shipped. This marks BOYNEXTDOOR's second consecutive Platinum certification in Japan, following their 2023 debut single 'AND,' which also achieved the milestone in its release month.

Notably, BOYNEXTDOOR stands as the sole international act this year to achieve over 300,000 first-week sales in Japan and simultaneously top the Oricon singles chart. The single explores themes of youthful love and unwavering confidence through relatable lyrics and easy-listening melodies. The Japanese original title track, 'Count To Love,' playfully likens the journey of romance to counting, creating an upbeat and engaging sound, with member Taesan contributing to the songwriting.

BOYNEXTDOOR is a six-member boy group that debuted in 2023 under HYBE's subsidiary KOZ Entertainment. Comprising members Sungho, Riwoo, Myung Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak, they are known for their approachable and sincere charm. The group aims to deliver comfortable and natural music, embodying the concept of 'boys next door,' and actively participates in songwriting, composing, and producing.
