Actor Lee Jun-young has heightened anticipation with the release of captivating stills from the Japanese film 'Tokyo Taxi', showcasing a mysterious chemistry with Japan's beloved actress, Aoi Yu.

The images, unveiled on the 12th, feature a striking two-shot of Lee Jun-young and Aoi Yu bathed in a single beam of light amidst darkness. Their intense gaze and dance-like poses in the stills suggest a unique charm Lee Jun-young will bring to the screen.

'Tokyo Taxi', directed by Japanese cinema veteran Yoji Yamada, is based on the popular 2022 French film 'Paris Taxi'. The movie tells a heartwarming human drama set in a changing Tokyo, exploring themes of regret, reconciliation, and miraculous moments encountered at life's crossroads. Alongside Japanese stars like Takuya Kimura and Chieko Baisho, Lee Jun-young's addition to the cast has garnered significant global attention.

Marking his debut in Japanese cinema, Lee Jun-young plays Kim Young-ki, the first love of the protagonist Sumire (played by Chieko Baisho) in her youth. His deep emotional connection with Aoi Yu, who portrays the younger Sumire, is expected to captivate audiences with his impactful performance as a rising global star.

Prior to the film's release on November 21st in Japan, Lee Jun-young will also make his musical comeback on November 22nd with his first mini-album, 'LAST DANCE'. Featuring double title tracks 'Bounce' and 'Why Do You Treat Me Like This', he aims to charm listeners worldwide this fall with his enhanced emotional depth and charisma.

Lee Jun-young first debuted in 2014 as a member of the K-pop group U-KISS, while also pursuing acting. He has since garnered recognition for his roles in various dramas and films such as 'Reply 1988', 'The King of Mission', and 'Unlocked'. His portrayal of a villain in the Netflix series 'D.P.' especially earned him widespread critical acclaim, further diversifying his acting portfolio.
