Singer Ji-hye Kim, formerly of the group CATS, has shared a concerning update following the birth of her twins, prompting concern from fans.

Kim posted a message on her social media account stating, "I am doing well. Thank you all for your worry," along with a photo of her postpartum recovery meals, which included seaweed soup, porridge, and fruits. She also shared pictures of herself recovering from an emergency C-section and practicing walking.

However, Kim revealed the difficult situation regarding her newborns, saying, "I am okay, but both babies are in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). They are having trouble breathing and cannot drink formula, so they are being nourished through IV drips."

Previously, Ji-hye Kim's husband, Choi Sung-wook, had mentioned that his wife experienced early signs of preeclampsia with high blood pressure post-delivery but was enduring and recovering well. He explained that her water broke suddenly and she had bleeding, leading them to the emergency room at dawn, where the delivery was performed via emergency C-section.

Ji-hye Kim debuted in 2007 as a member of the girl group CATS and is currently active as an entrepreneur and influencer. Her husband, Choi Sung-wook, was active in the group Paran in 2005 under the name 'Ace'. The couple married in 2019 and, after six years of infertility, successfully conceived twins through IVF, recently announcing their birth to much celebration.
