
Musical Star Ok Joo-hyun Apologizes for Unregistered Agency Operations
Singer and musical theater actress Ok Joo-hyun has issued an apology regarding the unregistered operation of her agency.
Through her agency, TOI Entertainment, Ok Joo-hyun explained that when she established her one-person agency in April 2022, she inadvertently failed to complete the necessary registration for a performing arts business due to a lack of understanding of administrative procedures at the time. She emphasized that this oversight stemmed from her inexperience, and upon recognizing the mistake, she immediately took steps to rectify it, submitting the registration application on September 10, 2025, and is currently awaiting approval.
Ok Joo-hyun further pledged to work with professionals to ensure all future procedures are handled meticulously and transparently to prevent similar incidents, promising to adhere strictly to all regulations moving forward. She established her agency, 'Title Role,' in April 2022 after parting ways with her previous agency, Prain Global, and has been active under TOI Entertainment since then.
Ok Joo-hyun made her musical debut in 2004 with 'Marie Antoinette' and has since become a renowned 'Queen of Musicals' by starring in major productions like 'Chicago,' 'Cats,' and 'Elisabeth.'
Her exceptional vocal talent and acting skills have also led to active participation in dramas and variety shows, earning her a broad fanbase.
During her time with the iconic K-pop group Fin.K.L, Ok Joo-hyun's prowess as the main vocalist was widely recognized, significantly contributing to the group's success.
