Figure Skating Queen Kim Yuna Reveals Why Yoo Jae-suk Wasn't Invited to Her Wedding

Figure skating legend Kim Yuna has candidly shared the reason why broadcaster Yoo Jae-suk was not invited to her wedding.

Appearing as a guest on the YouTube channel 'DdeunDdeun's 'Pinggyego' on the 13th, Kim Yuna engaged in a cheerful conversation with Yoo Jae-suk, Jo Se-ho, and Ji Suk-jin.

During their chat, Yoo Jae-suk expressed his slight disappointment at not being invited to Kim Yuna's wedding. Kim Yuna responded with a laugh, explaining that she didn't have his contact information at the time, admitting she had many concerns about who to send invitations to. She elaborated that due to her limited circle of interactions, her contact list wasn't as extensive as one might expect.

Kim Yuna also explained her choice of Shin Dong-yup as the wedding MC, citing their past work together on entertainment shows and his connection with her now-husband, Ko Woo-rim. Hearing this, Ji Suk-jin humorously commented that it would have been awkward if Yoo Jae-suk had taken on the role.

Kim Yuna, widely known as 'Queen Yuna,' achieved a historic 'all-podium' streak during her active career, becoming the first female figure skater to do so. Yoo Jae-suk proudly declared himself a long-time fan who has followed her career since her youth.

Kim Yuna is the 2010 Vancouver Olympics gold medalist in ladies' figure skating.

Since her retirement, she has remained active in various fields, including planning and directing ice shows and engaging in charitable activities.

She is also known to be close friends with Kim Eun-jung, a former ice hockey player.
