
Busan International Film Festival Gears Up with Star Power: Han Hyo-joo, Lee Jung-eun, Yoo Teo, Youn Yuh-jung to Grace Event
The 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), scheduled from October 17th to 26th, is set to captivate audiences with a strong lineup of Korean cinematic talent. Anticipation is high for the contributions of Korean actors at this global event.
This year marks the debut of a new competitive section, 'Busan Award.' Esteemed actress Han Hyo-joo will serve as a jury member, collaborating with acclaimed director Na Hong-jin and international filmmakers to select outstanding Asian films. The festival's executive director emphasized the selection of judges with keen insight and boldness.
Furthermore, actors Lee Jung-eun and Yoo Teo have been appointed as judges for the 'Actor of the Year' award, an initiative dedicated to discovering and spotlighting emerging talents in Korean independent cinema. They will preside over the evaluation of performances in Korean films within the Vision section.
