Global volleyball icon Kim Yeon-koung is set to embark on a new chapter, transitioning from a world-renowned athlete to a rookie director. MBC's upcoming variety show, 'Rookie Director Kim Yeon-koung,' has unveiled its third poster, heightening anticipation for its premiere.

Scheduled to air on the 28th, the show chronicles Kim Yeon-koung's ambitious project of founding and leading her own team. The newly released poster features the former 'Volleyball Emperor' in her new role as director, exuding charisma alongside her 14 'Steadfast Wonderdogs' players. They are depicted united, striving to rise from underdogs to become true 'wonders.'

The poster showcases Director Kim Yeon-koung gazing intently forward, projecting an aura of leadership that echoes her legendary career on the court. Her presence alone fuels expectations for the new history she is poised to create.

Surrounding her are the 14 'Steadfast Wonderdogs' players, striking dynamic volleyball poses. Kim Yeon-koung is widely regarded as the greatest player in Korean women's volleyball history, famously leading the team to the 2012 London Olympics semi-finals. Throughout her illustrious career, she played for clubs such as Heungkuk Life Insurance and Pepper Savings Bank, and also achieved remarkable success in Japan's V.League and Turkey's women's volleyball league. Even after retiring as a player, she continues to be deeply involved in volleyball, focusing on nurturing future talent.
