
Yangpa Announces First National Tour in 27 Years with 'Homecoming' Concert Series
Veteran singer Yangpa is set to embark on her first national tour in 27 years, titled 'HOMECOMING', promising a special reunion with her fans.
The tour kicks off with a concert in Seoul on November 8th at 6 PM at Yonsei University Auditorium. This marks her first nationwide tour since her debut solo concert in 1998, generating significant anticipation among her fanbase.
Following the Seoul leg, a performance is scheduled for November 22nd at 6 PM at the Woosong Arts Center in Daejeon. Yangpa plans to meet fans in other cities such as Cheongju and Jeonju at later dates. Tickets for the Seoul and Daejeon shows will be available for purchase via Ticketlink starting at 5 PM on the 18th and 19th, respectively.
This concert series aims to comprehensively celebrate Yangpa's 28-year career in music. She is actively participating in the planning to ensure a high-quality performance. Fans can look forward to timeless hits like 'A Little Child's Love', 'ADDIO', 'I Know Everything', and 'What Is Love', which are expected to evoke nostalgia. The tour will also feature new songs from her upcoming full-length album 'Part 1', set for release next month, as well as performances from her acclaimed appearances on MBC's 'King of Mask Singer'.
Recently, Yangpa captivated audiences as 'Antique Mirror' on 'King of Mask Singer', achieving a remarkable five consecutive wins as the reigning queen. She also garnered attention for her cover of 'Golden', the OST for the Netflix animated film 'K-pop: Demon Hunters'. Yangpa plans to perform 'Golden' live during the concert, showcasing her powerful vocals and deepened emotional expression.
Her agency, Concept K Company, stated, "We aim to present the best possible performance to the fans who have supported Yangpa without wavering for so long," adding, "We are also planning to announce additional concert locations."
Yangpa debuted in 1996 and quickly became a prominent solo artist of the 90s, known for her unique vocal tone and powerful singing. Despite a temporary hiatus in the early 2000s, she has maintained a strong connection with her fans through continuous album releases and diverse media appearances. Her recent success on MBC's 'King of Mask Singer' as 'Antique Mirror', securing five consecutive victories, further solidified her reputation as a consistently skilled vocalist.
