Noh Yu-min's Wife Revealed on 'My Mate Consort': Offers Realistic Advice to Cheon Myung-hoon and Sowol
Noh Yu-min's wife, who is six years his senior, made an appearance on Channel A's 'My Mate Consort' (also known as 'Groom's Class'), drawing significant attention.
During the broadcast on the 17th, NRG member Cheon Myung-hoon visited his long-time friend Noh Yu-min's cafe to introduce his girlfriend Sowol.
Noh Yu-min shared anecdotes about his wife, Lee Myung-chun, a former chorus singer whom he married in 2011. He confessed he was captivated by her charismatic leadership on stage and offered advice to Cheon Myung-hoon, suggesting that women with similar personalities, like Sowol, prefer practical gifts such as cash or jewelry over grand gestures. He also humorously noted his wife's habit of tidying up after him when he eats messily, a trait he sees in Sowol.
Shortly after, Lee Myung-chun arrived at the cafe, warmly greeting Sowol. Cheon Myung-hoon expressed that his girlfriend had been eager to meet her. The episode concluded with a lighthearted moment where Cheon Myung-hoon, inspired by Noh Yu-min's affectionate gesture of adjusting his wife's hair, attempted to do the same for Sowol but was playfully stopped, eliciting laughter from the cast.
Noh Yu-min, born in 1980, debuted as a member of the group NRG in 2000. He married his wife, Lee Myung-chun, a former chorus singer, in 2010, and they have two daughters. Besides his entertainment activities, he is also actively involved in running a cafe.
