Actress Hyeri Admits She Wants Both Rookie and Popularity Awards at Buil Film Awards
Actress Hyeri openly expressed her desire for both the Rookie Award and the Popularity Award at the 34th Buil Film Awards red carpet event.
Hyeri, nominated for Best New Actress for her role in the film 'Victory,' is also a strong contender for the Popularity Award. When asked by the MC which award she would prefer if she could only win one, Hyeri firmly stated, 'I don't want to miss out on either.'
She candidly shared her feelings, saying, 'I'm greedy and don't want to let go of either. Since many from 'Victory' were nominated for the Rookie Award, I'm also keen on that. The Popularity Award is given by the fans, so that's also something I desire.'
Meanwhile, the movie 'Victory,' starring Hyeri, tells the story of a high school dance club 'Millennium Girls' formed solely for dancing, set in Geoje in 1999, and was released last August.
Hyeri debuted as a member of the girl group Girl's Day and has since transitioned into a successful acting career. Her portrayal of Sung Deok-sun in the drama 'Reply 1988' earned her widespread recognition and affection. She continues to be active in various variety shows, solidifying her position as an all-around entertainer.
