Actress Son Ye-jin, attending the 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) Actor's House, shared insights into her married life with husband Hyun Bin.

During the session held on the afternoon of the 18th at the Shinhan Card Hall of the Sohyang Theater at Dongseo University in Busan, Son Ye-jin reflected on her filmography alongside Baek Eun-ha, head of the Actor's Research Institute.

Son Ye-jin's latest film, 'It Has to Be This Way' (directed by Park Chan-wook), served as the opening film for this year's BIFF. This marks her return to the big screen after 7 years, following her previous work 'The Negotiation.' Coincidentally, 'The Negotiation' was the film where she first collaborated with her now-husband, actor Hyun Bin.

When a fan inquired about her conversations regarding work with Hyun Bin, Son Ye-jin candidly admitted, "It's really strange, but we don't talk much about work." She added with a laugh, "We don't ask each other where we've been or if filming was tough. We know through each other's expressions."

However, she did mention one exception: "I did show him a script once," she revealed, explaining that the director had given her the script with the working title 'Axe' and asked her to read it.

"My husband rarely talks about work. I sometimes ask him to read lines with me, and if he reads them strangely, I scold him," she further elaborated. "We don't discuss our professional lives much."

Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin are happily married and raising their son.

Son Ye-jin debuted in 2001 with the drama 'Delicious Proposal' and has since built a diverse filmography. She gained immense popularity as a 'Melodrama Queen' for her roles in romance films like 'A Moment to Remember' and 'Spellbound.' Later, she left a deep impression with her versatile acting in various genres, including 'Shark,' 'Stranger,' and 'Crash Landing on You.'
