Netflix's new reality competition series, 'Physical: Asia', is set to determine the ultimate 'Asia's Strongest Physical Nation'.

The show features intense national rivalries with 48 athletes from 8 Asian countries, including Korea, Japan, Thailand, Mongolia, Türkiye, Indonesia, Australia, and the Philippines, each forming a team of six.

Leading these formidable teams are legendary figures: Korea's first UFC fighter Kim Dong-hyun, Japanese MMA veteran Yushin Okami, Australian UFC champion Robert Whittaker, and Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao. They are joined by top athletes from diverse disciplines, ranging from traditional martial arts and combat sports to power-focused ball games and track and field.

The South Korean team boasts an impressive lineup, spearheaded by Kim Dong-hyun, alongside skeleton Olympian Yun Sung-bin, wrestling champion Kim Min-jae, 'Physical: 100 Season 2' winner Amooti, former wrestling national team captain Jang Eun-sil, and CrossFit champion Choi Seung-yeon. This first-of-its-kind national competition promises an enhanced scale and spectacle, building upon the global success of the 'Physical' series.

PD Jang Ho-gi expressed excitement, stating, "The core of the 'Physical' series lies in the passionate competition that transcends disciplines and ages." He added, "'Physical: Asia' marks the first expansion of the series beyond Korea into Asia and its neighboring countries, and the added pride of representing a nation will deliver even stronger competition and profound emotions." 'Physical: Asia' will premiere globally on Netflix in October.

Kim Dong-hyun, often called 'Stun Gun', is a pioneer as the first Korean UFC fighter, known for his overwhelming skills that led him to numerous victories. Beyond the octagon, he has also actively engaged in broadcast appearances, significantly boosting his public recognition.
