Actress Ki Eun-se Reveals Luxurious Home, Boasting 100 Pairs of Designer Shoes and Fingerprint-Secured Bedroom
South Korean actress and influencer Ki Eun-se has publicly addressed long-standing rumors and misunderstandings by showcasing her lavish lifestyle.
Appearing on the Channel A program 'Best Friend Colloquium - Four-Person Dining Table' on the 22nd, Ki Eun-se unveiled her meticulously designed home to her 810,000 followers.
The tour revealed a bedroom equipped with a fingerprint-activated security system, a sprawling dressing room filled with over 100 pairs of luxury shoes and handbags, and a living room adorned with contemporary art.
However, behind the glamorous facade, Ki Eun-se expressed frustration over public misconceptions. "Even after seeing me live well, marry someone wealthy, and now live alone, people say it's thanks to my ex-husband's fortune," she stated. "I've never possessed anyone else's assets, nor have I ever lived off what was freely given. My parents are the same."
She recounted the challenges faced in her acting career, including a film being completely re-edited after a month and a half of shooting, a drama role lost due to a co-star's injury, another drama's cast being entirely replaced following a director change, and her first leading role in 'The Musical' concluding prematurely due to unpaid wages.
"I worked incredibly hard in my twenties, but I had little to show for it. It was a continuous wait," Ki Eun-se reflected. "I felt I would be too unhappy if I didn't give up, so I set aside my acting dream."
An unexpected opportunity arose through social media. "I started SNS unintentionally, and by showcasing what I'm good at, it became work and I earned money," she explained. "If I had only acted, I think I would have been crying every day. My influencer activities helped me stand up again."
Ki Eun-se married a Korean-American businessman 12 years her senior in December 2012 but announced her divorce in 2023.
Ki Eun-se debuted in the 2006 KBS drama 'The Invisible Man, Choi Soo-pil'. Although she didn't gain significant recognition as an actress early in her career, she achieved immense popularity in the fashion and lifestyle sectors through social media, successfully building a career as an 'influencer'. She currently actively operates as an entrepreneur, managing her own brand, 'Kitchen Market'.
