A rising K-pop sensation, VVUP, is set to solidify their global rookie status with the upcoming release of their debut mini-album, 'VVON'.

A group composed of members Kim, Paun, Suyeon, and Jiyun, VVUP unveiled the first content for 'VVON' on their official social media channels at midnight today (12th), officially announcing the mini-album.

The released imagery depicts the four members exuding their unique charms within a surreal, dreamlike cosmic space, each adorned in different colors. This distinct fantasy concept, tailored to VVUP's unique style, promises a narrative filled with original storytelling, significantly heightening anticipation for their comeback.

The mini-album's title, 'VVON', is a fusion of the words 'VIVID', 'VISION', and 'ON', signifying 'the moment when a clear light turns on.' Coincidentally, it sounds similar to 'Born' and is spelled similarly to 'Won', suggesting that VVUP will portray a narrative of birth, awakening, and overcoming through 'VVON'.

Prior to the mini-album's release, VVUP already hinted at their successful rebranding across music, performance, and visuals by pre-releasing the track 'House Party'. The song cleverly incorporated traditional Korean elements like 'dokkaebi' (goblins) and tigers in a trendy fashion, earning enthusiastic responses from global listeners.

'House Party' quickly climbed the charts, ranking high on iTunes K-pop charts in numerous countries including Russia, New Zealand, Chile, Indonesia, France, the UK, Hong Kong, and Japan. The music video, praised for its sophisticated visual artistry, also rapidly surpassed 10 million views, demonstrating VVUP's rapid ascent both domestically and internationally. All eyes are now on the new records VVUP will set with 'VVON'.

The mini-album 'VVON' is scheduled for release on the 20th at 6 PM KST through various music streaming platforms.
