Hive Media Corp. Returns with Comedy Action 'Boss,' Promising Laughter This Fall
Hive Media Corp., a production company known for its reliable quality, is set to entertain audiences once again. Following the success of 'Handsome Guys' last year, they are releasing their new comedic action film, 'Boss,' in October.
'Boss' centers on a group of mobsters vying for the next boss position, but hilariously end up 'conceding' the spot to each other in pursuit of their individual dreams. This latest offering comes from the same producers who brought the widely acclaimed '12.12: The Day' (Seoul Spring), signaling their intent to deliver another hit with a comedic touch this holiday season.
The film particularly boasts the reunion of Park Ji Hwan and Lee Kyu Hyung, who previously showcased great chemistry in 'Handsome Guys.' Park Ji Hwan plays Pan Ho, a subordinate eager for the boss title, while Lee Kyu Hyung portrays Tae Gyu, an undercover cop aiming to infiltrate the organization. Their dynamic is expected to generate powerful comedic synergy, aiming to dominate the box office this fall.
Park Ji Hwan has established himself as a reliable actor in Korean cinema with memorable roles in films like 'Time to Hunt,' '1987: When the Day Comes,' and 'The Battle: Roar to Victory.' He has also been actively expanding his career into television dramas, recently appearing in 'Daily Dose of Sunshine.'
