The joint Channel S and SK Broadband production, ‘Wandering Food Trippers,’ has concluded its culinary journey in Florence, Italy, and embarked on a new flavor adventure in Fukuoka, Japan. In this leg of the trip, Jung Yong Hwa of CNBLUE answered Lee Jung Shin's urgent request, providing invaluable assistance by introducing hidden gems he had saved.

The episode aired on the 4th showcased Kwon Yul, Yeon Woo Jin, and Lee Jung Shin's vivid local gastronomic exploration in Fukuoka. However, the trio, despite their initial enthusiasm, encountered unexpected challenges upon arrival, including sweltering heat and the area being a popular tourist spot for Koreans.

After much effort under the hot sun, they finally found a local ramen shop where the authentic, rich flavor of Tonkotsu ramen deeply impressed everyone. The mood turned somewhat deflated when Kwon Yul revealed that this very ramen shop had a branch in Korea, leaving them disappointed about failing to discover a truly local gem for their first meal.

Adding to the fun, the members created amusing nicknames based on their favorite foods. Yeon Woo Jin, a meat lover, became ‘Meat Yeon’; Kwon Yul, who developed a passion for tiramisu after the Florence trip, was dubbed ‘Tira Kwon’; and Lee Jung Shin, who even faced a ‘burrata cheese ban,’ christened himself ‘Bura Lee,’ showcasing fantastic chemistry.

The first dinner in Fukuoka was at a local yakiniku restaurant recommended by Jung Yong Hwa. The profound flavors created by the special marinade and charcoal grill elicited continuous exclamations of admiration from the three.

Kwon Yul even sang CNBLUE's song 'You're My Darling~' while making a heart gesture towards Jung Yong Hwa. Yeon Woo Jin, known for being selective about praising food, admitted, 'I have pride in my taste for meat, so I don't easily say something is delicious... my pride is hurt,' showing his surprise. Lee Jung Shin confidently stated, 'I can confidently recommend this place to the viewers,' expressing his satisfaction.

After the hearty meal, Kwon Yul suggested a beer, saying his energy had recovered. The three concluded their day at a local izakaya, highly recommended by locals, enjoying motsunabe and crisp draft beer.

However, on the morning of the second day in Fukuoka, an unforeseen event occurred: the eldest member, Kwon Yul, suddenly disappeared. When Yeon Woo Jin frantically called, Kwon Yul replied, 'I'm at Fukuoka Airport.'

With a trembling voice, Yeon Woo Jin asked, 'Don't tell me you're leaving the show?' Kwon Yul delivered a shocking statement, 'It's not leaving, it's giving up mid-way,' escalating the tension to its peak. Will ‘Wandering Food Trippers’ face dissolution, or will they overcome this crisis? The surprising conclusion will be revealed next week.

Jung Yong Hwa debuted as the guitarist for the band CNBLUE in 2009, quickly gaining recognition in the music industry. He later expanded his career into acting, appearing in dramas such as 'You're Beautiful' and 'Heartstrings.' More recently, he has been actively engaged in releasing solo albums and participating in various variety shows, showcasing his versatility.
