YooMooang Faces Online Hate Comments Post-Death of Ex-Husband Daedosiwon

YouTuber YooMooang is reportedly experiencing distress from malicious comments directed at her, even after the passing of her ex-husband, popular broadcaster Daedosiwon (real name Na Dong-hyun).

Although the couple had announced their amicable divorce three years ago, some netizens have been leaving hateful messages blaming YooMooang following Daedosiwon's unexpected death. Police and fire authorities responded to his residence after a report of him not showing up for a scheduled meeting, where they found him deceased. No suicide note or signs of foul play were reported at the scene.

Despite their separation, Daedosiwon and YooMooang had maintained a friendly relationship, even stating they were closer as friends after their divorce. However, following the news of his passing, a segment of online users has resorted to posting accusatory and harmful comments on YooMooang's social media and YouTube channels.

Supporters and the general public are urging for an end to these attacks, calling them a "secondary victimization" of the deceased and his former wife. Many are calling for legal action against the malicious commenters, emphasizing the need to cease baseless accusations against YooMooang.

YooMooang is a prominent South Korean YouTuber known for her gaming and talk content, who began her career in 2010. She married fellow broadcaster Daedosiwon in 2015, and they announced their divorce in July 2023. The former couple had expressed that their post-divorce relationship was stronger and more amicable than during their marriage.
