The first-generation internet broadcaster, the late DaeDoSeoGwan (real name Na Dong-hyun), has passed away and will be laid to rest amidst deep mourning from his peers. The funeral procession is scheduled for 8 AM on the 9th, following his passing on the morning of the 6th at the age of 46.

Authorities responded to a welfare check requested by an acquaintance who reported him missing and found the late DaeDoSeoGwan deceased at his home in Gwangjin-gu. No suicide note or signs of foul play were discovered at the scene. His wake has been set up in Room 205 of the Funeral Hall at Konkuk University Medical Center in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, with his younger sister and ex-wife, YouTuber Yum Yum (real name Lee Chae-won), as chief mourners.

DaeDoSeoGwan, who ran a YouTube channel with 1.44 million subscribers, began his broadcasting career as an AfreecaTV BJ in 2010. Amidst an environment often dominated by sensational content, he contributed significantly to popularizing internet broadcasting with his 'clean' broadcasts, free of profanity. As a first-generation YouTuber, he spearheaded the shift in broadcasting environments towards platforms like YouTube. He also expanded his presence into television, appearing on various entertainment shows and winning the Male Rookie Award in the Entertainment category at the 2018 Korea Culture Entertainment Awards.

Comedian Kim Dae-beom remembered him as 'Korea's top YouTuber, a very kind and polite person,' adding, 'He never showed off his large subscriber count and was a truly wonderful individual who helped beginner YouTubers.' YouTuber Gomong also lamented the untimely passing, calling him 'the big brother of YouTubers,' while Kim Sung-hoe of the 'G-Geographical Encyclopedia' channel expressed, 'I learned about the world of game broadcasting through him and dreamed of becoming a game broadcaster. I deeply mourn the final path of the one who paved the way.'

Police have conducted an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Acquaintances reported that the late DaeDoSeoGwan had complained of heart-related pain in the past. Viewers also recalled him mentioning 'a sharp pain in my heart' during broadcasts. Given his visible fatigue during a live stream just two days before his death and reports of him pushing through grueling schedules, some speculate acute myocardial infarction as the cause, especially since his father also passed away from a heart attack during his high school years, lending weight to the possibility of a pre-existing condition.

On the morning of the 8th, the National Forensic Service issued a preliminary verbal opinion stating, 'There are no indications of foul play or criminal suspicion.' The police stated they would determine the precise cause of death after receiving the final autopsy report from the National Forensic Service.

The late DaeDoSeoGwan began his broadcasting career on AfreecaTV in 2010, quickly becoming a beloved figure among first-generation internet personalities. He was cherished by viewers for his wholesome and informative content, standing out in an era of sensationalism. His broadcasting talent and kind nature also made him an inspiration to many aspiring content creators.
