SWF3 Concert Controversy: Osaka Jo-gyung Member Ibuki Withdraws Amidst Production Company's Claims of Unfair Demands

The production company for Mnet's 'Street Woman Fighter 3' concert, Root59, has revealed the circumstances surrounding the withdrawal of Ibuki, a member of the winning team Osaka Jo-gyung. Root59 stated in an official announcement on the 9th that communication issues with Ibuki's manager and demands for opaque, separate conditions hindered contract negotiations.

The production company explained that Ibuki's side manager proposed non-transparent terms, undisclosed to the other members, and insisted on not specifying performance fees in the contract, which Root59 found unacceptable. Despite reaching a tentative agreement for all members to participate, Ibuki reportedly did not board the flight arranged by the production team just before the performance. Through her lawyer, she conveyed her decision not to participate due to health reasons and a breach of the prior agreement.

Root59 emphasized that they made continuous efforts to facilitate Ibuki's participation but received no response, leading to the announcement of her absence from the Busan concert on September 8th. They received communication from Ibuki's lawyer expressing her desire to participate only after the announcement. Root59 added that the remaining Jo-gyung members are diligently preparing to keep their promise to fans and requested warm support for them.
