Seo Hyo-rim's 'Broke Declaration' in Hawaii: A Two-Month Stay Begins with Family

Actress Seo Hyo-rim has embarked on a two-month stay in Hawaii with her family, a venture filled with both anticipation and the stark reality of expenses. She humorously declared herself 'bankrupt' before even settling in.

The latest video on her YouTube channel, 'Hyorim & Joy,' titled 'HYORIM IN HAWAII Part 1 (Feat. Two Months in Hawaii~),' documented her departure from Incheon International Airport with her husband and daughter, Joy. "We're finally heading to Hawaii today. It's quite a long journey," Seo Hyo-rim announced, emphasizing the need for careful spending by showcasing her heavy, waist-high luggage.

After an eight-hour flight, upon arriving in Hawaii, Seo Hyo-rim expressed her excitement, "I'll probably arrive back in Korea when it starts getting chilly. I'm going to fully enjoy the Hawaiian weather." She watched her husband and daughter playfully splashing in the accommodation's pool, remarking with a smile, "I can't tell who the child is and who the adult is."

However, the leisurely moments were short-lived as the 'survival mode' kicked in. "Hawaii's prices are so high, and there are tips too. We're cooking all our meals," she explained, revealing the homemade side dishes she brought along. "Do you know how much of a lifesaver these are?" she exclaimed, highlighting Korean resourcefulness.

Despite her preparations, her grocery shopping trip went awry. "I bought so many things I didn't need. I spent $200," she confessed with a sigh, adding, "I feel like I need to go back to Korea as soon as I arrived." Her daughter Joy's innocent question, "Do we have to go back to Korea?" added a touch of adorable despair to the situation.
