'The 4th Republic of Love' centers on the unconventional love story between Kang Min-hak (played by Kim Yo-han), a top-tier influencer model, and Joo Yeon-san (played by Hwang Bo-reum-byeol), a brilliant computer science major who struggles with romance. The drama is a collaborative effort, helmed by directors Yoon Sung-ho and Han In-mi, known for their distinctive styles, and penned by a fresh team of writers from the creative group 'Songpyeon'.

The script reading brought together an ensemble cast, including Kim Yo-han, Hwang Bo-reum-byeol, Kwon Young-eun, Minseo, Heo Jeong-do, Im Seong-gyun, Kang Shin, Lee Jun-hyeok, Woo Ji-hyun, and Lee Ji-hye. Kwon Young-eun plays Yang Na-rae, a model major and BL enthusiast, while Minseo takes on the role of Kang Dong-won, the assertive president of the computer science department and a proud lesbian. Heo Jeong-do portrays the struggling Dean of Engineering, Gi Myo-han, and Im Seong-gyun appears as Ban Ji-no, Joo Yeon-san's academic rival. Their interactions are expected to inject vibrant energy into the series.

A representative from the production team commented, "The script reading was a testament to the fantastic synergy and passion of our young cast.
