Actress Moon So-ri Recalls 'Adrenaline-Pumping' First Day of Filming While Pregnant

Korean actress Moon So-ri has captivated viewers by sharing a thrilling anecdote from when she was pregnant with her daughter Yeon-du, specifically recalling the precarious moments on the very first day of filming after discovering her pregnancy.

Appearing on the tvN STORY variety show ‘Gakjip Couple,’ Moon So-ri offered a glimpse into her family life. During the broadcast, she candidly spoke about a past miscarriage and the unique circumstances surrounding her joining director Park Chan-wook's film following her recovery.

"After miscarrying before Yeon-du, I rested for three months and decided I wouldn't have more children, but then Yeon-du came as a surprise gift," Moon So-ri reminisced. She further revealed, "I found out I was pregnant on the first day of filming for director Park Chan-wook's movie," conveying her mixed emotions at the time.

"I asked the director if I could join the shoot, but because I had a miscarriage three months prior, I was diagnosed with needing hospitalization for absolute rest," she explained. "While I was happy, I also felt conflicted because I had prepared for that specific project," Moon So-ri confessed, detailing the emotional rollercoaster.

Moon So-ri is a highly acclaimed South Korean actress, celebrated for her powerful performances and recognized with prestigious awards like the Cannes Film Festival's Best Actress award.
