Song Il-kook's Heartbreak: 'Triplets Now Push My Arm Away!'
Actor Song Il-kook recently shared his bittersweet feelings about his triplets, who have grown up remarkably fast.
During the tvN STORY variety show 'My Husband Has a Hobby' (literal translation), which aired on the 11th, Song Il-kook appeared alongside fellow musical 'Mamma Mia!' cast members Kim Jung-min, Kim Jin-soo, and Min Yoon-gi.
As a weekend husband, splitting his time between Seoul and his family, Song Il-kook expressed his yearning for his sons. He candidly revealed his disappointment when his triplets, once inseparable, now shy away from his affection. "Even when they put their arms around my shoulders, they push my arm away," he confessed with a sigh, highlighting the swift passage of time and the changing dynamics of fatherhood.
Kim Jung-min, who also experiences a long-distance relationship with his family while working in Japan, offered words of comfort. He reassured Song Il-kook, saying, "Just wait a little longer. They'll come running back to you soon."
Song Il-kook, a veteran actor, gained immense popularity for his role in the 2006 drama 'Jumong'. He is married to Jeong Seung-yeon, a judge, and together they are parents to triplets: Daehan, Minguk, and Manse. The triplets' heartwarming and humorous interactions with their father were a major highlight of the KBS reality show 'The Return of Superman'.
