Former JTBC Announcer Song Min-kyo Lands Internship in New York

Broadcaster Song Min-kyo, formerly of JTBC, has embarked on a new professional chapter as an intern at a New York-based company.

Recently, Song shared a post on her social media accounts, announcing, "Second employee ID card of my life. Internship begins." The post included a photo of her new company ID, signaling her transition from her previous role at JTBC to pursue fresh career opportunities.

Last August, Song had announced her departure from JTBC, describing the period as incredibly hectic and emotionally complex. She has since been pursuing further education, currently undertaking graduate studies at Columbia University after completing her undergraduate degree in English Literature at Ewha Womans University.

Born in 1983, Song Min-kyo graduated from Ewha Girls' High School of Foreign Languages and Ewha Womans University with a degree in English Language and Literature. She joined JTBC as a first-term announcer in 2011 and worked there until July of last year. She is currently pursuing graduate studies at Columbia University.
