Singer Yoo Seung-jun, also known as Steve Yoo, has indirectly responded to recent remarks made by composer Yoon Il-sang. Yoo revealed his second son, Jian, for the first time on his personal YouTube channel, expressing his feelings, "There are times when my heart breaks due to twisted truths and distorted sincerity."

He shared his gratitude while observing his son's diligence, stating, "I live with a sense of debt thanks to my beloved wife." Regarding intentions to return to Korea, Yoo mentioned, "I am already very happy and thankful," and prayed for "all misunderstandings that block us to be resolved."

This comes as a counterpoint to Yoon Il-sang's recent YouTube comments that criticized Yoo's draft-dodging controversy, speculating that "Korea was business, and the place to return to was America." Yoon had previously called Yoo's actions a "betrayal of the country" and urged for a sincere apology.

Yoo Seung-jun debuted in 1997 and was one of the most popular singers in the early 2000s. He obtained U.S. citizenship in 2004, exempting him from military service, which led to a ban on his entry into South Korea. He has since been active internationally under the name Steve Yoo.
