Kim Jong-kook Clarifies Marriage Rumors on 'My Little Old Boy'
Singer Kim Jong-kook has garnered attention by directly addressing rumors surrounding his marriage on the SBS entertainment show 'My Little Old Boy' (Miubse).
During the broadcast on the 14th, Kim Jong-kook's reaction to Kim Hee-chul's liberal use of wet wipes was a point of interest. When Kim Hee-chul remarked, "You don't nag me about using lots of wet wipes anymore," Kim Jong-kook playfully responded, "I'm preparing myself to pretend I don't see these things now." However, he followed up with practical advice: "But don't throw them away. Fold them up after use, you can use them again," eliciting laughter from the cast.
When Kim Hee-chul asked, "What if someone you love throws them away?" Kim Jong-kook firmly stated, "That's different." Mixed martial artist Kim Dong-hyun agreed, noting, "As you live, you learn to compromise." I fight a lot because of it."
Kim Hee-chul then brought up rumors about Kim Jong-kook's wife, asking if she was someone he met at the gym, or the daughter of a CEO or English teacher from LA. Kim Jong-kook clarified precisely, "My wife has absolutely nothing to do with exercise." He further corrected the misinformation, stating, "Everything you read online is not true."
Kim Jong-kook also shared anecdotes about married life, telling Kim Dong-hyun, "Married men call me a lot to tease me, saying my life is over now." He playfully asked Kim Dong-hyun, "Don't you miss being single?" Kim Dong-hyun responded enthusiastically, "It's unbelievably good, I have no regrets," indicating his contentment. He admitted to having argued over small things before marriage, but when Kim Jong-kook asked if he was happy, Kim Dong-hyun beamed and confirmed, "I'm happy."
