Park Bo-gum Joins Ice Bucket Challenge, Supports Construction of First Lou Gehrig's Hospital

Actor Park Bo-gum has spread his positive influence by participating in the Ice Bucket Challenge.

On the 14th, Park Bo-gum posted a video on his social media account, stating, "Following in the footsteps of senior Sean, I am participating in the 2025 Ice Bucket Challenge."

In the video, Park Bo-gum stood before the camera wearing a black t-shirt. He expressed his support, saying, "I cheer for the stable and continuous operation of Korea's first Lou Gehrig's Hospital, built with the warm hearts of many people." He then nominated actors Go Kyung-pyo, Heo Sung-tae, and Tae Won-seok to take on the challenge next.

The Ice Bucket Challenge, which began in 2014, aims to raise awareness and encourage donations for Lou Gehrig's disease, allowing participants to either douse themselves with ice water or make a donation.

Park Bo-gum recently starred in Netflix's 'When Life Gives You Tangerines' and JTBC's 'My Name is Loh Kiwan,' and successfully concluded his hosting of KBS2's 'The Seasons-Park Bo-gum's Cantabile'.
