(G)I-DLE's Yuqi Returns with First Single 'Motivation' for Her Birthday Month

Yuqi, a member of the girl group (G)I-DLE, has made a special comeback with her first single album 'Motivation' in celebration of her birthday month, September.

The album dropped on September 16th at 6 PM KST, featuring the full tracklist and the music video for the title track 'M.O.' This marks her return as a solo artist approximately one year and five months after her debut mini-album 'YUQ1' in April of last year.

Yuqi's previous solo work, 'YUQ1,' showcased her artistic capabilities as she participated in concept planning and songwriting. The album achieved significant success, becoming a half-million seller and ranking high on various music charts, solidifying her solo debut.

The title track 'M.O' is a 90s boom-bap hip-hop piece embodying self-confidence and charisma. 'Just Like This' is a rock ballad that tenderly expresses emotions after a breakup. '还痛吗' offers a more heartfelt rendition of 'Just Like This' in Chinese, serving as a special gift from Yuqi to her fans.
