Sayuri Joins 'Our Baby Was Born Again' as a 'Birth Correspondent,' Aims to Support Single Mothers

Broadcaster Sayuri is joining the TV Chosun entertainment show 'Our Baby Was Born Again' (hereinafter 'Woohagi') as a 'Birth Correspondent,' raising expectations.

Sayuri, as a single mother herself, expressed her desire to help particularly single mothers during childbirth, drawing from her own experiences. She conveyed her sincere intention for joining the program by stating, "I felt lonely when I gave birth. I want to help single mothers give birth."

Furthermore, Sayuri, who has lived in Korea for about 20 years, commented on the changes in Korean society, urging for increased social interest in childbirth and parenting alongside the rise in international marriages. She emphasized the program's significance, saying, "It's a great opportunity to once again reflect on how parents struggled and went through hardships to prepare for and deliver a child."

'Woohagi' is Korea's first variety show to vividly convey childbirth scenes, promising to deliver emotion and entertainment by celebrating the birth of new life and sharing the process. The second episode of the regular season, enriched by Sayuri's participation, is scheduled to air on Tuesday, September 23rd, at 10 PM.

Sayuri previously shared her own childbirth process honestly, giving courage to many. She is confidently living as a single mother raising her son, Jen. Beyond her broadcasting activities, she is also active as an author, publishing books.
