KBS2’s ‘Immortal Songs’ is set to dedicate a special episode to the legendary vocalist Lena Park. The ‘Artist Lena Park’ special will feature a gathering of South Korea’s most talented singers, promising to deliver unforgettable performances.

Esteemed artists joining the tribute include the soulful Jung Joon-il and the powerful vocalist Solji, alongside the sweet duet of San E and Lim Gyu-hyeong. The lineup also boasts the talented band ONEWE, singer-songwriter Lee Mu-jin, unique vocalist HYNN (Park Hye-won), and the crossover group Forte di Quattro, all poised to reinterpret Park’s iconic hits in their own styles.

Debuting in 1998, Lena Park, known as the ‘Fairy of R&B’ and ‘Nation’s Fairy,’ has captivated audiences for years with her exceptional vocal prowess and deep emotional delivery, producing hits like ‘Dream,’ ‘Mia,’ and ‘My Day.’ Her unparalleled status was further solidified during her appearances on MBC’s ‘I Am a Singer,’ where she achieved overwhelming victories and season-long average rankings.

Park has a long-standing relationship with ‘Immortal Songs,’ having previously graced the stage during specials honoring Lee Sun-hee, Cho Yong-pil, and Song Chang-sik, leaving a lasting impression. This time, she will appear as the ‘legend,’ expected to inspire and present the ultimate stage for the junior artists.

The ‘Artist Lena Park’ special is scheduled to broadcast in October.

Lena Park debuted in 1998 with her first album 'Piece' and is often referred to as the matriarch of Korean R&B ballads. She earned the moniker 'Queen of Singers' after achieving average first-place rankings in seasons 1 and 3 of 'I Am a Singer.' She continues to be an active artist, inspiring many junior musicians.
