The 30th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) saw a vibrant outdoor stage greeting event for the film 'Flood' on the 19th at the BIFF Outdoor Stage in Haeundae-gu, Busan.

Actress Kim Da-mi graced the event, captivating the audience with her presence. She engaged with fans on stage, further building anticipation for the upcoming film.

This year's BIFF is set to screen a total of 328 films, encompassing 241 official selections from 64 countries, including the opening film 'Without Ever Knowing', alongside community screenings. A new competitive section features 14 invited films, vying for five 'Busan Award' categories. These awards, focused on Asian cinema, will recognize achievements in Best Picture, Best Director, Jury's Special Award, Best Actor (two recipients), and Outstanding Artistic Contribution, with trophies designed by acclaimed Thai director Apichatpong Weerasethakul.

Kim Da-mi made her debut in the 2018 film 'Memory' and quickly garnered attention. She solidified her star status with her versatile acting in the drama 'Itaewon Class' and the film 'The Witch'. Her subtle emotional portrayals and unique aura have earned her widespread adoration from fans both domestically and internationally.
