SEVENTEEN's special unit, S.Coups and Mingyu, has heightened anticipation for their upcoming comeback by dropping a surprise preview of their new mini-album title track, 'HYPE VIBES,' including a snippet of the music and choreography.

On the 19th, SEVENTEEN officially released a challenge video for the title track '5, 4, 3 (Pretty woman) (feat. Lay Bankz)' on their social media channels. The video first unveils a portion of the new song's audio, immediately capturing attention. The melody interpolates elements from Roy Orbison's hit song 'Oh, Pretty Woman,' famously known as the theme for the movie 'Pretty Woman,' layered with a vibrant disco sound that sparks excitement. The track is further enhanced by the members' sophisticated vocals and a captivating rap feature from American Gen Z hip-hop artist Lay Bankz.

The choreography perfectly mirrors the song's bright and upbeat tempo. S.Coups and Mingyu showcase rhythmic steps and groovy movements, radiating infectious energy. A standout move features a playful fan-like gesture accompanying the lyric 'She on fire,' adding a unique charm to the performance. The duo's free-spirited enjoyment of the music creates an inclusive atmosphere, signaling the potential for a viral challenge.

Fan reactions have been overwhelmingly positive, with the video surpassing 10 million views in just over 13 hours after its release. Comments flooded in, with fans praising it as "short but addictive," complimenting the choreography as "hip and cute," and expressing excitement for the stage, calling it a "surprising charm from the hip-hop unit" and dubbing them the "hot guy unit."

Set to be released on the 29th, S.Coups and Mingyu's first mini-album, 'HYPE VIBES,' embodies a passionate and free-spirited atmosphere where everyone can connect and enjoy together. Both members actively participated in writing and composing all tracks on the album, infusing it with their distinct tastes and sensibilities.

To commemorate the album's release, a pop-up event will also be held. According to Pledis Entertainment, a Hybe music group label, the event will run from the 30th to October 5th on the 6th floor of Yongsan IPark Mall.

S.Coups and Mingyu are recognized as the leader and a member of SEVENTEEN's hip-hop team, respectively. This special unit collaboration presents a significant opportunity to showcase their combined musical synergy. Fans can expect to see the continuation of SEVENTEEN's well-known talent for self-producing, as both members have contributed to the songwriting and composition of this unit's album.
