Jung-sook from Season 4 of ‘I Am Solo’ has unleashed intense dissatisfaction targeting the production team, her fellow participant Young-soo from Season 4, and even the MCs immediately after the broadcast of SBS Plus and ENA’s ‘Traveling Together’.

On her social media, Jung-sook stated, “Watching today’s broadcast fills me with misanthropy.” She expressed her grievances about comments, treatment, and conversations that were not shown on screen. She claimed the production team edited out her practical suggestions and treated her as if they told her to ‘shut up and just travel.’ She also revealed that her pleas for understanding, due to being hospitalized shortly before the trip, were ignored.

Furthermore, Jung-sook strongly expressed her displeasure at being edited to appear like a fanatical supporter of Young-soo from Season 4. She criticized the MCs’ requests for romantic confessions, stating that after being portrayed as emotionally unstable for nearly two months, it’s unreasonable to expect her to recover now. “They’ve decided to ruin someone,” she harshly criticized the production team’s actions.

Mentioning her appearance fee, Jung-sook even suggested changing the program title to ‘Project: Make People Look Like Idiots,’ expressing her fury. She felt she was being portrayed as mentally ill, a stalker, and a crazy woman, and that they were trying to bury her.

Upon hearing that Young-soo had traveled alone to Agra, Jung-sook was shocked but reached out with a message of reconciliation. However, Young-soo, upon belatedly checking messages, responded warmly but later told the production team in an interview, “She’s not my girlfriend, just a fellow participant from Season 4 with whom I shared memories. Why does she get upset if I don’t accommodate her?” This statement deeply disappointed Jung-sook again.

Realizing this broadcast content belatedly, Jung-sook appears to be greatly angered. She has vehemently expressed her displeasure not only to Young-soo but also to the production team. Previously, on the 1st, Jung-sook had also posted on social media, “Someone gets a whole show to explain themselves. Someone else faces threats to their livelihood and insults to their family background and character, yet is left alone or ignored. I feel discarded after being used for convenience,” blaming the production team.

She repeatedly expressed her discomfort, asking, “Where is the basic human respect or protection of rights for the cast members? I gave them time over several episodes, suggested going gently, and made polite requests, but are they only focusing on sensational and popular topics? It feels like I’m being forced into a picture they’ve already decided on and manipulated within that narrative.”

‘Traveling Together’ is a program where ‘I Am Solo’ participants reunite to show realistic conflicts and relationships during a trip abroad. However, this incident with Jung-sook has brought the conflict between participants and the production team to light, which is expected to affect the program’s credibility and future direction. Jung-sook’s widespread criticism is escalating the situation.

Jung-sook was a participant in Season 4 of ‘I Am Solo,’ and her relationship with Young-soo was a major topic during the broadcast. The current program, ‘Traveling Together,’ brings together ‘I Am Solo’ participants to film their experiences and various episodes during a real trip. Jung-sook’s social media posts following the broadcast reveal her deep dissatisfaction with the program's direction and editing.
