Baby V.O.X's Yoon Eun-hye Addresses 'Feud Rumors' Ahead of Reunion Concert
Yoon Eun-hye, a member of the iconic K-pop group Baby V.O.X., has opened up about the persistent rumors of discord within the group.
In a YouTube video uploaded on the channel 'Jipdaesung' on the 19th, the Baby V.O.X. members discussed their upcoming reunion concert, marking their first full-group comeback in 14 years.
When asked about future plans by host Daesung, Yoon Eun-hye revealed, "Whenever four of us promoted and I was absent, feud rumors were rampant. So, we concluded that we should consider ways to enjoy being Baby V.O.X. for a longer term, even if not all five of us are always active."
Fellow member Kim Ee-ji specifically shared her struggles with the constant 'feud' label attached to Yoon Eun-hye whenever she couldn't participate.
Yoon Eun-hye candidly admitted, "While pursuing my acting career, I actively tried to distance myself from my singer image." She explained that this was a common situation for many singers transitioning to acting at the time, adding, "I received a lot of criticism, and I was embarrassed by my unprepared image back then."
She continued, "As I've gotten older, I've come to see that past self with more affection, and with fans cherishing those memories, I've begun to feel that there's no need for me to dislike my past self."
Kim Ee-ji also expressed relief, stating, "Most importantly, the people who used to curse at us are gone, so my mind is at ease," shedding the burden of being labeled the 'icon of anti-fans' in the past.
Yoon Eun-hye successfully transitioned into acting after Baby V.O.X., starring in numerous dramas and films and earning critical acclaim for her performances. She also embarked on a solo music career, achieving notable success. Recently, she has been actively participating in various variety shows, maintaining a consistent presence on television.
