Seo Jang-hoon Shares Personal Story, Comforts Guest on 'Ask Anything'

Broadcaster Seo Jang-hoon offered words of comfort and empathy to a guest on KBS Joy's 'Ask Anything' (Mu-eot-i-deun Mul-eo-bo-sal) by sharing his own past experiences.

The episode, aired on the 22nd, featured a woman who had worn a wig for 29 years due to a condition that prevented her hair from growing since birth.

The guest recounted the difficulties she faced throughout her childhood and school years because of the wig, deeply moving Seo Jang-hoon and co-host Lee Soo-geun.

Seo Jang-hoon particularly related to the unique challenges she must have faced as a woman, stating, "Everyone has something different about them, even if it's not outwardly apparent."

He then shared his own anecdote: "I also experienced being stared at on the street because of my tall height, with people wondering, 'What is that guy doing?' But when I became famous for being a good basketball player, my height was naturally accepted as a characteristic of a basketball player," he explained, conveying his own realization.
