INFINITE's Nam Woo-hyun to Star as 'Josephine' in Broadway Musical 'Sugar'

Singer Nam Woo-hyun has been cast in the authentic Broadway show musical 'Sugar,' igniting anticipation among musical theater fans.

'Sugar' will premiere its Korean production on December 12th at the grand theater of the Hanjeon Art Center in Seoul. Nam Woo-hyun will portray the role of 'Joe (Josephine),' a saxophone player who disguises himself as a woman to save his life, promising a significant transformation on stage.

The musical is based on the classic comedy film 'Some Like It Hot,' which has garnered global acclaim. Set in the Prohibition era of 1929, the story follows two jazz musicians who accidentally witness a gangster's murder and, to escape danger, disguise themselves as women and join an all-female band, leading to a series of hilarious mishaps.

The Korean production of 'Sugar' reinterprets the beloved classic with a contemporary sensibility.
